Our local dental clinic the ‘Balnarring Dental Centre’ was announced as a finalist in this year’s Peninsula Business Awards. The ‘Peninsula Business Awards’ recognise businesses that go above and beyond to service the people living on the Mornington Peninsula and Frankston region. Our local dental clinic in Balnarring was recognised as one of the most outstanding small businesses due to the high quality of care they provide to their patients and their specialised dental equipment. For instance, they are the only dental clinic on the peninsula to have the ‘Cerec Machine’ that allows patients to have their crowns completed in a single visit, unlike before when two or more visits would be required. The machine uses the most modern 3D scanning technology and allows dental crowns to be made in-house in 10min. The patient is able to save time, multiple visits and multiple dental injections.
Most importantly, it is of the strongest material possible. So much so that we can drive a car over the milled dental crown and it remains intact. This technology also supports a more holistic approach to dentistry as there are fewer chemicals, no metals, no mercury and no BPA being exposed to the mouth and body. During the procedure the patients can take a break and watch their crown being milled by the machine. This is truly at the forefront of modern dentistry and they are very proud to offer this level care to the people of Balnarring and surrounds.
